Updates to Creating Receipts in Workday
This update is a follow up to the guidance from UMD Procurement regarding receipts. As of this week (5/26/2026), department users will no longer have the ability to Create a Receipt Adjustment in Workday.

Enhancement to the 'Create Request' Task
We’ve made an update to several Workday Create Request types to improve how requests are labeled and searched. Previously, request descriptions displayed the name of the person submitting the request (the Initiator), which sometimes made it difficult to quickly identify who the request was actually for.

PRD Expectation Setting Now Open in Workday
The Performance Review and Development (PRD) process for 2026-2027 is now live in Workday. PRD Eligible Employees are exempt and non-exempt staff regular and staff contractual (C2).

Change Job Business Process Update
There is a business process update in the Change Job business process. Effective May 4, 2026, the costing allocation task in the Change job business process has been removed. If worker costing allocations will require modifications, HR Analysts must use the Ad-Hoc “Assign Costing Allocation” task in Workday. Please note that this change to the “Change Job” business process (BP) also includes the “Review Employee Contracts” BP.
