Workday Fall 2026 Release (2026R2)

The fall 2026 Workday feature release went live on September 19, 2026!

Some of the notable changes in this release include:

• More Absence tasks will now be available to complete on mobile devices (Request Return from Leave of Absence and Return Worker from Leave)
• Workday has introduced the Manage My Receipts task, which enables you to edit, cancel, and track the status of your receipts.
• The Change Job business process has been updated to include several new templates designed to provide a more streamlined approach to processing worker position changes.
