One Year In Workday: Reflecting on Progress and Collaboration

November 15 marked one year since we went live in Workday Human Capital Management (HR/payroll) and Finance. As we enter our second year in this new system, it’s important to recognize the tremendous effort this transition has required from staff, faculty, and students. This first year has truly been a tremendous effort between all members of our community who are committed to making this system work. Important Guidance for New Hire Home Addresses

During the ad hoc hiring process, Workday will allow HR Analysts to enter either a Home Address or a Work Address for the prehire. However, if a work address is entered and a home address is not, it will cause a delay for payroll. Additionally, entering a home address is a state of Maryland CPB requirement. This impacts hires who are not coming through the regular recruitment process such as Search waivers, PTK faculty, and C1s.
