Procurement Updates in Workday for University System of Maryland Office, University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science, and University of Maryland Shady Grove
As of today, Procurements for the University System of Maryland Office, University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science, and University of Maryland Shady Grove will no longer be managed out of the University of Maryland, College Park, but out of a new shared services model under the University System of Maryland, the Strategic Sourcing Procurement Center (SSPC).
What’s New?
- USMO, UMCES and USG will no longer use Multi-Year Requisition Types.
- Users at these institutions will contact the USM Strategic Sourcing Procurement Center for support (sspc@usmd.edu).
What is the Same?
- Delegation threshold will stay the same at $25k.
- The way you enter your requisitions will stay the same.
- Supplier onboarding will stay the same.
- Accounts payable and P-cards will stay the same.
A reminder that requisitions that were in process after October 17th were cancelled and will need to be resubmitted.
