FY26 Year-End Close Campus Calendar

Greg Oler (Chief Financial Officer - University of Maryland, College Park) sent an email to finance users last week sharing the preliminary FY26 Year-End Campus Calendar to guide us through the year-end activities.

Per the email, for a large institution like ours, the year-end closing is a significant undertaking. Our goal each year is to fine-tune the process to support our campus community better. Thanks to your feedback, Finance has been able to adjust and share the calendar in a way that allows campus and central business units enough time to complete the necessary business actions.

Additionally, there are opportunities for you to engage with Finance:

• Inquiry/Feedback: ServiceNow where you can submit a ticket with questions
• Live Support: Weekly virtual Open Office Hours (Brown Bag Sessions) organized by activity type, where you can ask a specific question to a central finance staff.
