Workday Transformation Report
New Homepage Coming Monday, July 6!

Workday is getting a refreshed, modern look starting July 6, 2026!
You’ll notice updates to the home page, search experience, and the navigation menu. Workday is introducing these changes to make Workday more intuitive and easier to use. Highlights include:
- The search bar will be more prominently featured on the home page.
- The sidebar navigation will be visible as you peruse Workday, and you can quickly scan your key pages by hovering over the icons (meaning fewer clicks!).
There are no changes to how you complete core tasks (like requesting time off or viewing pay), and your access and permissions remain the same.
Workday Virtual Agent

We have made the following improvements to the Workday Virtual Agent:
- Users will now need to log in via CAS to access the Workday Virtual Agent. Users will be prompted to log in automatically. This protects our support materials and enables us to promote the Workday Virtual Agent more widely. For instance, you can now access the Workday Virtual Agent directly from our homepage.
- We have added sample questions to help users understand how best to prompt the Workday Virtual Agent. These show up automatically when you open the Workday Virtual Agent.

Time Off Tips
- When viewing your Time Off Balance, inputting a future date enables you to see your estimated time off balances for a future date. This is a helpful tool for planning your time off for the year to ensure that you are using your different leave banks through the end of the year.
- There is an alternate way to view your Time Off Balance as well as your Time Off Requests through the Manage Absence report. This report can be helpful by displaying a calendar view, and an easily adjusted “Balance As Of Date,” where updating the date automatically updates the estimated balances displayed.
